The initial pre-contract stages of a project seek to control cost at the design stage and define the work in written documents known as the Tender Documents. These are intended to cover the work content of the project and include the building contract.
The main objective of our services is to provide you with sound practical advice that results in a predictable outturn cost. In this way, you and your funders can be assured that the project can be completed within the agreed amount. Many of the decisions that are made before the contract is signed, determine whether the outcome of the project will be successful or otherwise.
Once construction work commences, we work with other team members, valuing the work in progress, assessing variations and any contractual issues before completion. We then agree the final account with the contract and address any contentious issues. Our services offer good value for money and generally save clients more than the fees paid.
